Nu trebuie sa uitam niciodata momentele sangeroase din 1989. Este prea putin important in momentul de fata ca revolutia romana a fost initiata de servicii secrete si ca de fapt a avut ca scop realizarea unei rocade la conducerea tarii intre comunisti. Nu de manipulatori trebuie sa ne amintim, ci de cei manipulati.

Ce trebuie tinut minte este ca oameni simpli si-au dat viata pentru idealurile in care au crezut atunci: libertate, inlaturarea tiraniei, democratie. Au murit prea multi nevinovati, tineri sau batrani, ca sa ii putem da uitarii.

What’s done it’s done, and we must forever remember the men in the street, not the men behind the curtains.

We must never forget that simple men and women gave their lives for the ideals in which they believed: freedom and democracy. To many innocent people died, young and old alike, for us to ever forget them…
